What is a BUZZ AROUND GROUP?

We are collecting a list of moms & nannies throughout the greater metro area who would love to have you in their Buzz around group. You would meet at least once a month at the Playseum and from their develop friendships and connections to others in your community. It is free and we hope that through this service parents and kids can connect and new friendships will be born. Come in and look on our metro map and find a Buzz around group near you.

What is a BUZZ AROUND FIELD TRIP?

Our Focused Field Trips provide hands-on learning experiences that expand on concepts integrated into the Playseum exhibits. These are designed to meet the developmental needs of young children ages 3 to 10. Focused Field Trips include:

A 15 minute orientation with related story time of choice
45 minutes of Playseum exploration^
$3.00 in Playseum money to spend on books and Trinkets in the Toy shop
Minimum group size is 12 with maximum of 30.
Fees: *$10 per child *$8 per child if you do not want the Playseum Money

RIOT KIDS
(Righteous Invasion of Truth)

is a non-profit faith based ministry that reaches elementary and middle age kids around the United States in the venues of Art & Science, Drama & Creativity, Real life & Imagination, Curiosity & Inquisitiveness come together under Truth. We are proud to offer RiotKIDS to the Bethesda area.
 
Cost is $10 and includes crafts and homework help. Snacks available for purchase $.

SPLASH
(students play & learn after school hours)

Kids 6th-8th are welcome at $10.00 per person to:

* Hang out with their friends
* Find a new book to read on our teen shelves
* Create something awesome in our Create with Me art studio
* Work on their school project using our arts & crafts supplies
* Enjoy silence in the homework room with staff on hand who can help
* Great music and light snacks available for purchase.
